The most exciting part of the Baldrige process is the site visit. As a Baldrige Team Leader several years and also as someone helping applicants prior to and during their site visits, I have seen the highs an lows. This guide helps steer you away from the mistakes while ensuring your success. Site visit visits should be valuable and fun but they won't be if you are not prepared. The preparation is simple and can be done in two days or less for most organizations. Ensuring that everyone in your organization understands what is in your application if the wrong way to prepare. This guide explains why.
This guide summarizes in a practical manner much of what I have learned about effective preparation for a Baldrige Site Visit from working as an original Baldrige Examiner, Senior Examiner, Alumni Examiner, and consultant since 1988.
